(K)Not Everything

That (G)LT/TRS is GLD

What are you entangled with?

What debt is owed?

What feeds you?

What do you feel should be done?

What do you feel you should receive?

What is there to learn from this?

Here is your SLT/N

Read it in your SKRS

Let it become your SKL(L)S

The deep time of the scream

The deep time of the screen

The bouncing back into space

The transformation of (H)aNGeR

by De/Aug/Ter

In an other’s space

Time collapositions

into a constant tension

into a big all-consuming and generative Myth

I have been alienated from my body

by a contra/diction that has made me the antagonist

I am soothed only by a S/W/TeK/ling

a new S(K)ieNSe

a new Go(oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)d/e

Aguda?

A transformation of (M)MiRRoR Y?

The heaviness I carry within me moves me

Moves me to cross over into something else

I want the porosity of this new S(K)ieNSe

This sensation of FLSH

S/W/TeK/NG

The ability to see in D’aRK

To observe the observer

To be a Kon/?/error

To be a cipher

To be the wandering strangeness

An optical phenomenon

An Aether Ops

in the wilderness

Nadir on the horizon

The Bluest Eye

The Eye of Ra

Jemima

Zarqa al-Yamama

To see beyond is a _____________

This body as a resonant membrane

As the shaping of Muddy Clay

As a QuiLT of Go(oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)d/e

As a (G)Baptism: One again stringing oneself back together till you are your own light

Bending everywhich way

To become yourself again

To reveal what you’re carrying within

An eternity of flow as your own anointing

like Sogolon

like Timbuktoo

like Aksum

like Sarah Baartman

like Sethe

I have used this Aguda

to apply this Blackness

this Bluesness

to my eyes

let it clinging to my body

To drink into myself

over and over again

until a potency surges

until a clearer perception opens

an E=(K)Wa Location

a collaposition

all the tenses felt at once

an image of Go(oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)d/e

What is stored within?

A Re/SouRCe (M)MiRRoR Y?

A SyZyGy

A ReSiBiLaNT

My own GN/TeK formulas

An abundance of eRRoRs

Binded together

A deep gr gr gr gr gr gravity counted

A (W)Holy (K)who/re

Overconcentrated

Oversaturated

Overflowing

Moving towards somewhere else

This structuring of movement within

This year’s series of field notes will be a list of ComMendMeants exploring the idea of these programming codes as praise songs of the nature-based hybrid automaton Al Kym/Org. They are part of the process of my larger poetic project KwaNTum, which explores concepts of knowledge and knowledge-making from a Black, Afro-diasporic perspective, using ideas from STEM, Afrofuturism and the Black Speculative Movement. This project is partially made possible by funds rom the NYSCA Literary Grant, sponsored by Culture Push.
